Harmony Ridge is throwing a nod to the Iconic Route 60 and the great American road trip. Route 60 was one of the first transcontinental highways you could take coast to coast from Virginia Beach to Los Angeles, CA and there are plenty of people road tripping on it. The Greenbrier Valley Visitors Center welcomes spring with an extensive Art in the Valley exhibit by Ruth Ananda titled “Wild & Wonderful Songbirds”. Ruth is fascinated by birds and her unique paintings are semi-abstract in acrylic on canvas. Her studio is located in Hinton, WV and quoting Ruth, her “inspirations come from sights and sounds just outside her window: The wondrous world of birds.” Music throughout the evening will be provided by members of G.R.O.U.P: Greenbrier Optimistic Ukulele Players under the direction of Bob DuCharme.
